“NWSE” is North West Skeptical Events Ltd, the non-profit company which owns this website.

“The European Council of Skeptical Organisations” (ECSO) is an umbrella organisation for skeptical organisations across Europe. NWSE is a member of ECSO.

“The Merseyside Skeptics Society” (MSS) is a skeptical organisation based in Merseyside, UK. MSS is a member of ECSO and co-organiser of ESC 2026.

“ESC”, “ESC2026”, "ESC Liverpool", and “European Skeptics Congress” refer to a science and skepticism conference organised by NWSE and MSS on behalf of the ECSO, taking place in Liverpool in 2026.

“escliverpool.org” is the website operated by NWSE on the World Wide Web, consisting of information concerning, and ticket-buying services for, ESC 2026.

A “User” is any person operating a device which establishes a connection to escliverpool.org.
